The sisters shared a room until they both went to Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, US, in September 2020 and now live together – and are looking to buy a house.

Kennedy and Morgan, who both work in technology, say they have “complimentary personalities” but share almost everything – including their finances.

Kennedy, from Los Angeles, California, US, said: “Morgan is the leader. The driver in our relationship.

“I’m more the baby – more of a scatterbrain.

“We’ve always shared our money.

“We share the money we make from our jobs equally.

“I deal with all our finances and investments.”

Morgan said: “We’ve always done that – even when we were little.

“We never have disputes around what we’re going to spend money on.”

Growing up Kennedy and Morgan shared the same clothes and were always hanging out with each other.

Even now they are inseparable and even shared a bed for eight months – when only a queen-sized bed would fit in their room they were stuck in during the pandemic.

Kennedy said: “Out of necessity we shared the same clothes – even down to our underwear.

“Now we have our own clothes. We have our own distinct styles.

“We both like preppy and inspired by the 80s.”

Morgan added: “Every single piece in my closet is black.”

After two years of not living together through some of college, they now share the same apartment and have a dream of buying a house and car together.

They have the same bank account to save up – and split all their income equally.

Morgan said: “All the paychecks all go into the same account and we divvy it up.

“Kennedy and I have the same goals and fears surrounding our finances.

“It’s financially beneficial. We talk about our plans and goals as a unit. Our goals are pretty aligned.”

The twins even share food – such as ice cream and lollipops – makeup and toothbrushes.

Morgan said: “We share food. We share makeup.

“If Kennedy has ice cream I just have some but I don’t think I’d do that with a significant other.”

When it comes to dating, one twin has to get the seal of approval from the other – and would want them to all live together.

Kennedy and Morgan say when it comes to marriage and kids, only they would they consider living separately.

Kennedy said: “If Morgan didn’t like someone I could never date them long-term.”

Morgan added: “The significant other has to see the importance of our relationship and to make an effort with Kennedy.”

Kennedy and Morgan say the bond twins have is very different to those who have siblings – enabling them to feel comfortable sharing goals and finances.

Kennedy said: “Having a twin is not like having a sibling.

“Having a twin feels like you’re the same people in two different bodies. It’s an extension of you.”
