AN insider has revealed that despite impending divorce rumors, Jennifer Lopez is doing everything she can to make it work with her husband Ben Affleck, “at any cost.”
A source close to the couple claims that JLo, 54, has been doing her best to make it work with Ben, 51, but the two deal with life’s stresses very differently.
The insider told The U.S. Sun, “When Ben’s having a problem, you can see it all over his face and he does want to talk about it and hash it out, but it can be exhausting.
“That’s not the world Jennifer lives in most of the day. She’s all about winning, not pain, and she’s still determined to have this fairy tale ending with Ben, at any cost.”
They added that as far as photographs and public image go, “the bottom line is that she can fake it and he can’t.”
“When he’s falling apart, everybody around him knows and everybody faces a loyalty test if they’re not comforting and consoling him,” the insider said.
“He’s genuinely grateful for his sobriety and I don’t think he’s falling off the wagon again anytime soon.
“But he’s still got the weight of the world hanging over his shoulders every day and Jennifer doesn’t, despite the recent bad fortune with her tour and new music. She doesn’t ‘do’ misery, at least not around the people closest to her.”

Ben and Jennifer first met in 2002 on the set of the movie Gili.
At the time, JLo was going through a divorce with her second husband, Cris Judd.
She and Ben began dating, with the Justice League star proposing with a six-carat pink diamond ring a few months later.
The engagement was called off the next year, but they decided to give things a second shot and got married two decades later in 2022.
Two years on, things have started to look rocky, with Jennifer attending the 2024 Met Gala by herself.

But according to The U.S. Sun’s source, this was completely expected from those who knew the couple.
“They’re willing to give each other a lot of space when opportunity knocks,” the source said.
“They are independent people who don’t need to be with one another 24/7 like some Hollywood couples do.
“Jennifer doing the Met Ball and Ben doing the Brady Roast doesn’t look weird to people who know them.

InTouch magazine claimed this week that Ben had “reached a breaking point” and has “moved out” of his shared home with JLo.
“It’s over; they’re headed for a divorce and for once [Ben’s] not to blame,” a source told the outlet.
“He’s focusing on his work and kids now.”
The Hollywood couple was spotted together for the first time together in weeks on Thursday night, supporting Ben’s child in a school play.
Earlier in the day, JLo was also seen flashing her wedding ring during an outing.

When speaking on whether they could get divorced, The U.S. Sun’s insider revealed that this could negatively affect Jennifer emotionally.
“Ben has tens of millions of dollars and a dozen more films ready to make in the next few years. Ending this relationship is not going to destroy his life,” they revealed.
